Ocean City Spotlight
HomeGrown NC is a local 501(c)(3) organization seeking to assist those in Eastern North Carolina discover their legacy. We are focused on building community, bridging generational gaps, and fostering relationships. This will be our second event in our Family Business series where we highlight local African American history through storytelling. These events consist of a family “agri-craft” activity for all ages and family style games.
Our Agri-craft of the month is a Succulent Hanging Garden. We want the participants to be able to express themselves through art while learning about Ocean City Beach access point through storytelling.
Juneteenth Family Fun Day
Join us in a pre-celebration of Juneteenth! We will have family friendly games, planting activities, and story telling. We will also have The Tempted Palate food truck present so no need to plan dinner. See you Friday!
